The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will launch the Power Lotto next month which is  dubbed as the “lotto for the rich.” This is because Power Lotto was design to attract those filipino people who only bet when LOTTO jackpot prize is very high like 50 million pesos.

There are also more chances of winning in the Power Lotto. Aside from the jackpot, some of the prizes the bettor can win are P700,000 if bettor gets five numbers in the first panel, P50,000 if the bettor gets four on the first panel and one in the second panel; and P8,000 if the bettor gets only four numbers in the first panel and none in the second.

PCSO chairman Sergio Valencia presented the new lottery to be seen in the Philippines called Power Lotto. According to the PCSO chairman that Power Lotto game was designed to attract the socio-economic classes of A, B and C+. Usually these classes only play when the jackpot prize hits 50 million pesos up. The first draw will be on June 17, 2008. The game draw is only once a week and fall every tuesday.
